Biography
In 1941 she graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute .
In 1941–1942 - shift supervisor, shift chemist at the Bereznikovsky nitrogen fertilizer plant (the plant produced Molotov cocktails).
In 1942–1943 - head of the workshop of the chemical reagents factory in Sverdlovsk .
In 1943–1952, he was a research fellow, then a graduate student of the Ural Scientific Research Chemical Institute (UNIHIM). Since 1952 - candidate of technical sciences.
In 1952-1960 - head of the department of chemical technology of inorganic substances, one of the organizers of the technical faculty of Perm University .
In 1960-1986 - head of the Department of Inorganic Substances Technology of the Perm Polytechnic Institute (where her department, together with the Department of Metals and Energy Technology N. N. Lipchina , transferred after the inclusion of the technical department into the polytechnic institute ).
In 1965, she became the first woman of the Perm Polytechnic Institute to defend her doctoral dissertation [1] (topic - “The study of firing and chlorination in molten vanadium compounds”). Since 1968 - professor .
Since 1988, he has been the chief researcher at the Laboratory of Chemistry and Technology of Vanadium Compounds of the Institute of Chemistry of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences . Since 1992 - again a professor at the Department of Inorganic Substances Technology PPI .
Scientific, organizational and administrative activities
An important role is played by S. A. Amirova in organizing the technical faculty of Perm University . In 1952, she was the creator, and then the permanent head of one of the largest departments of the technical faculty, the department of technology of inorganic substances (in 1960, the department became part of the chemical engineering faculty of the Perm Polytechnic Institute , and S. A. Amirova remained its head until 1986 years [1] , working later as a professor [2] ).
Under her leadership, one of the two main specialties of the faculty successfully developed - "Inorganic Substances Technology". The main directions of the department, which are of great industrial and practical importance, was "Study of the processes associated with the formation and decomposition of sulfates" [3] .
The close connection of the technical department with the factories helped to select relevant topics. The research of associate professors S.V. Vargin on the technology of materials S. A. Amirova - on the technology of inorganic substances, N.N. Lipchina - on metal science went in parallel or together with the work of factory engineers, which practically eliminated the problem of implementation '' [4] .
In PPI, she developed and taught the courses “Theory of Technological Processes” (using the elements of problem-based learning), “Scientific Foundations of Design”, participated in the development of the course “Mathematical Modeling and Optimization of CTP” (with computer calculations).
Under her leadership, two technologies for extracting vanadium from converter slag were developed and implemented at the Chusovsk Metallurgical Plant , which allowed solving the environmental problems of Chusovoy and obtaining a major economic effect; The initial data for the design of non-waste technology of technical vanadium pentoxide were developed and issued. For the Chusovsky Metallurgical Plant , recommendations have been developed for the neutralization of wastewater from the ferroalloy workshop from toxic compounds [5] .
During the period of S.A. Amirova’s chairmanship, the Department of Inorganic Substances Technology issued about 5 thousand chemical chemical engineers, many of whom have successfully worked and are holding senior positions in chemical plants and in the Prikamye Research Institute.
Under her leadership, at the Faculty of Chemical Technology of PPI , a single scientific direction was formed: “Development of new principles for the creation of promising and non-waste technologies”. S. A. Amirova led the research on the problem of "Chemistry and Technology of Vanadium Compounds."
She prepared 30 candidates of science, co-authored over 260 scientific papers, received 30 copyright certificates, and several patents of the Russian Federation (see [6] ).
