Deng Qingyun

Deng Qingyun ( Chinese trade. 鄧青雲 , ex. 邓青云 , pinyin : Dèng Qīngyún , pall .: Deng Qingyun ), also known as Ching W. Tang (born Ching W. Tang (born July 23, 1947 , British Hong Kong ) Is an American chemist who works mainly on plastic electronics .

Career

In 1970, he received a bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia . In 1975, he received a Ph.D. from Cornell University [4] .

Since 1973 he worked in the research laboratories of Eastman Kodak Company [5] . In 1987, together with Stephen Van Slyke, he developed the technology of creating organic LEDs (OLED) [6] .

He is currently a professor of applied chemistry at the University of Rochester [7] .
