Douwe Bob Posthuma ( Dutch: Douwe Bob Posthuma; born December 12, 1992 , Amsterdam , Netherlands ) is a Dutch singer and songwriter in folk and country genres. Dowe Bob represented the Netherlands and took 11th place in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 [1] [2] with the song “ Slow Down ”.

Biography
Father is a famous designer and musician Simon Postum. [3]
Dowe Bob began playing the piano at the age of 6, initially concentrating on jazz and classical music . At age 14, he first picked up a guitar . The singer was inspired by country , folk and pop music of the 1950s and 70s.
Musical career
On September 22, 2015, it was announced that Dowe Bob would represent the Netherlands at Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm [1] .
May 10, 2016 Bob went to the finals of the competition [4] .
Personal life
On March 10, 2016, during an interview for OutTV, Bob said that he considered himself bisexual. [5] .
