Yevgeniy Moiseevich Dodis ( born Yevgeniy Dodis ; born 1976 , Chisinau ) is an American cryptographer , a scientist in the field of computer science . Professor at New York University .
After graduating from the secondary specialized mathematical school in Chisinau, he entered the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Moldavian State University [1] . After his first year of study in 1993, he emigrated with his parents to the United States [2] [3] . In 1996, he graduated from New York University with a specialization in mathematics and computer science, and in 1998 received a master's degree in computer science and engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology [4] . In 2000, he defended his doctorate in Philosophy in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology , specializing in cryptography under the guidance of Madhu Sudan . Since 2001, he has been teaching at New York University (since 2008 - associate professor, since 2012 - professor in the computer science department) [5] .
