Cambronn, Luckner

Born in a poor family of a Protestant preacher. He worked as a cashier at the National Bank . He received a law degree, was the treasurer of the student group.

Luckner Cambronn enthusiastically supported Francois Duvalier . In 1960, he became a member of parliament. Duvalier appointed Cambronn as Minister of Public Works. In this position, Cambronn was raising funds for the planned construction of a new capital, Duvalleville . In 1959 , after the disgrace and arrest of Clement Barbo, Papa Doc entrusted Luckner Cambronn with command of the Taunton-Macoutes . This post made Cambron the second man of the regime. In 1964, he organized the referendum on the lifelong presidency of François Duvalier.

Luckner Cambronn was distinguished by extreme cruelty and personal devotion to Papa Doku.
