Since 1702 he was an auxiliary priest in one of the Lutheran parishes and in 1708 he was appointed rector in his native village of Buketsi, where he served until his death in 1728. In collaboration with Ian Bemar , Ian Langa and Matei Jokusz , he translated Martin Luther’s Bible into the Upper Luzhsky language. This translation required eleven years of work to process the language and verify with Polish, Czech and Old Slavonic translations. The Bible was published in 1728 after his death at the expense of the Serbian Cultural and Educational Society “ Serbian Preaching Society ”. Currently, this translation under the name " Biblija 1728 " is considered in the trade union industry as one of the monuments of the Serboluga writing and language.
