The Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances was adopted by the Diplomatic Conference on the Protection of Audiovisual Performances [4] , which was held in Beijing on June 20–26, 2012 . The contract covers the intellectual property rights of performers in terms of audiovisual performances and affects the rights to reproduce, distribute, rent, and broadcast and broadcast to the public.

The administrative functions of the treaty are performed by the World Intellectual Property Organization .
The Russian Federation acceded to the treaty on October 19, 2015 [5] .
