History
He worked on the Samara-Zlatoust railway . He was incapacitated during the Civil War , reinstated at the initiative of the workers of the locomotive depot of the Chelyabinsk station in his spare time, at the beginning of 1920 and in early May (3 or 4 numbers) sent to starving Moscow with 442.3 tons (27,000 pounds ) of bread. The steam locomotive was commissioned to lead the crews of machinists F. Albov and S. Novozhilov with assistants K. Garaguley and F. Malakhov and firemen V. Khokhlov and F. Blinov. The repairmen, the guards of 12 people, and the delegates S. Muranov, I. Mikhalev and A. Gundarev went along with them on the trip. The composition with bread arrived in Moscow on May 7 (according to other sources - 8), spending about 4 days on the road, setting a speed record: regular freight trains from Chelyabinsk to Moscow went 10-12 days [3] [4] . The delegates were received by V. D. Bonch-Bruyevich , the head of affairs of the Council of People's Commissars of the Council of People's Commissars, and then presented to V. I. Lenin , who thanked all the comrades for their bread.
On the initiative of Chelyabinsk regional historian A.I. Kozyrev, a steam locomotive in 1957 was found on the Amur railway at the Dalvostokugol combine, returned to Chelyabinsk and on April 20, 1960 , in honor of Lenin’s 90th birthday, put in perpetual storage in the city garden Pushkin near the Palace of Culture of Railwaymen [5] .
