It was founded in 1816. Originally produced mainly silver and copper (until the 1940s). By 1840, the vast majority of production was iron. Since 1848, the company began to produce damask steel . From 1906 to 1920 - the plant did not work. In 1921 it was reconstructed [2] . In 1924, the first open-hearth furnace in Siberia appeared, and in 1925, rolling appeared. In the 1930s, it was temporarily subordinate to KVM . In 1934, 28 thousand tons of steel were smelted, 22 tons of rolled products were rolled [3] .

He was a member of the Estar group. Then he joined the Mechel group. By April 2013, 10 million tons of open-hearth steel had been smelted. He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor in 1987. The volume of production is 210 thousand tons of steel per year.
