Igor Vetrov was born on August 1, 1924 in Kiev.
In 1941 he graduated from a glider school. Member of World War II.
In 1948 - the Kiev school of film actor, at the film history department of which he studied.
In 1967 he graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Theater Art named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary , in 1968 - the directing department of the KGITI named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary.
As an actor, he starred mainly in episodic roles.
He died on April 20, 1998.
