The early years
Born on January 12, 1925 in a large family in the city of Baku .
In 1946 he graduated with honors from the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry named after M. Azizbekova majoring in mining engineer.
After graduation, he worked in the oil industry .
In 1958, under his leadership, a well was drilled with an inclination of 800 meters and a depth of 2550 meters, which was a world record at that time.
In 1962 he was appointed Chief Engineer of the Oil Rocks Drilling Department. His research and recommendations allowed for the first time in world practice to prevent the appearance of griffins on Oil Rocks and other platforms .
In 1958 he defended his thesis , in the same year he became chief engineer, as well as deputy director of Aznipineft (Azerbaijan Oil Research Design Institute).
Doctor of Science and Honored Inventor
In 1962 he defended his doctoral dissertation , in which for the first time in the USSR methods were proposed for the prevention of widespread complications in oil production.
In 1963 he was awarded the title “Honored Inventor of Azerbaijan”.
From 1976 to 1992, Seid-Rza Mir Kerim oglu was the director of AZNIPIneft.
From 1979 to 1995, he was the editor-in-chief of the Azerbaijan Oil Industry magazine.
In 1980, he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan .
In 1989, Seyd-Rza Mir Kerim oglu was awarded the honorary title Honored Inventor of the USSR (N 00014 dated November 01, 1989) [1] [2] [3] [4]
He died on July 27, 1995 in Baku .
