Novoivanovsky is an abolished village that existed on the territory of the Dmitrovsky district of the Oryol region until 2004. He was a member of the Gorbunovsky village council [1] .

Content
Geography
It was located 4.7 km southeast of Dmitrovsk at the source of the stream - the left tributary of the Moshka River. Later on this stream, north of the village, a pond was created - the so-called "snag" at the Zheleznogorsk -Dmitrovsk highway. Novoivanovsky consisted of one street, stretching from north to south. Height above sea level - 225 m [2] . The nearest settlement is the village of Moshki .
History
It was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by immigrants from the village of Gorbunovka . Among the locals there was a second name of the village - Gorbunovsky . In 1926, there were 10 courtyards in the village, 68 people lived (31 males and 37 females). At that time, Novoivanovsky was part of the Gorbunovsky village council of the Lubyanka volost of the Dmitrov district of the Orel province [3] . Since 1928, as part of the Dmitrov district. In 1937, there were 14 courtyards in the village [4] .
During the Great Patriotic War, from October 1941, he was in the zone of Nazi occupation. He was released on August 10, 1943 by fighters of the 37th Guards Rifle Division [5] . Soviet soldiers who fell in battle for the village after the war were reburied in a mass grave in the village of Gorbunovka [6] . The inhabitants of the village participated in the war: Glazkov Pavel Grigoryevich (1911), Shvedov Alexey Grigoryevich (1897), Shvedov Vasily Ivanovich (1922), Shvedov Peter Ivanovich (1926).
In the 1980s, Novoivanovsky was still indicated on maps, but there was no longer a permanent population here. By the end of the 1990s, it was a completely empty settlement without surviving buildings. It was abolished on October 15, 2004 [7] .
