Story
Cartoon about the development of corn in northern latitudes. Corn lived in the southern regions along with Watermelons , Grapes and other heat-loving cultures. But one day, one of the villages invited Corn to her place of permanent residence. And then, under the goodbyes and applause of relatives and friends, he leaves for Corn on a train to the far north. Arriving and meeting a good-natured reception, there she took root and made friends with other fruits and plants of that region. And as soon as the sprouts began to grow from the seeds , weeds suddenly appeared and went on the offensive on fruitful plants . But it wasn’t there - on time the tractors arrived and defeated all the weeds. Then everything went without incident, and when the rain poured, then the corn grew. In honor of such an event, under the leadership of a rooster - conductor, local animals arrange a fun concert . It all ends with the visual achievements obtained from a successful corn crop.

Quotes from the articles:
Films of Alexander Ivanov are distinguished by witty observation, dynamism, political acuity. Among the best: “Fox and Thrush”, “In the forest thicket”, “Signature is illegible”, “Miracle”.

In 1957, the poster film genre returned to the screens, animations again trust the propaganda of important political topics. The most striking works of this direction are the revue films “Miracle” by A. V. Ivanov and “Hello to Friends” by D. N. Babichenko, B. P. Dezhkin and M. S. Pashchenko (both - 1957).
- George Borodin [4]
But the first profession did not allow to forget about itself: the director continued from time to time his "ROSTOV" line. The most notable was the film “Wonder Woman” (1957), one of the first post-war cartoons for adults that received widespread recognition. The picture cannot be attributed to the number of unconditional masterpieces. The director has films that are much more integral and perfect in the artistic sense. But there is a scene in the film for which the audience forgave the director everything, because they have never seen anything like it before. This is a scene of the onset of weeds, “thistles” that dance something like rock banned in the country, combined with Russian boom and whistle. The dashing, rhythmic clarity and ease of “execution”, and even the smack of prohibition, brought the film a resounding success. It was a real sensation - for professionals and for the audience. Much has been written about the film in the press - an unprecedented rarity in the pre-Hitruk and pre-Norshteyn era. Wonder Woman won the First Prize at the All-Union Film Festival in 1958.).
