The flag is red and one quarter is green. The green part is at the flagpole at the top. On the green part is a moon and a star of gold color.
In 1921, the second All-Khorezm Kurultai renamed the name of the state to the Khorezm Soviet People’s Republic and adopted its new Constitution, in article 41 of which a new flag was described: [5] [6] [7] [8]
The flag of the Khorezm Soviet People’s Republic is set in the following form: a red field, and one quarter of this field, facing the upper part of the pole, is green and the image of the crescent and star is placed on this green part.
In 1922, a new version of the KHSR Constitution was adopted, in paragraph 87 of which a new flag was described: [9] [10] [11] [12]
The national flag of the KhNSR is as follows: the banner is red, part of the banner in the upper left corner of the flagpole is green. On a green background is placed the distinctive sign of the KHSR.
On September 19, 1924, the fifth All-Rural Kurultay of the Soviets decided to dissolve the KhNSR. In 1924, in connection with the abolition of the KHSR and its subsequent demarcation between the three newly formed Soviet republics : the Uzbek SSR , the Turkmen SSR and the Karakalpak Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , which became part of the RSFSR , the flag was abolished [13] .
