The Black Sea Naval Cooperation Group (ChVMG OV) “ Blackseafor ” ( eng. BLACKSEAFOR: Black Sea Naval Cooperation Task Group ) was established on April 2, 2001. The members of the group are the Black Sea states - Bulgaria , Georgia , Russia , Romania , Turkey and Ukraine ( Abkhazia , as a partially recognized state, is not a member of the organization).
The duties of Bleksifor include providing security in the Black Sea, conducting joint search and rescue exercises, mine action and humanitarian operations, operations to protect the environment, and conducting goodwill visits [1] [2] .
Planned activations are carried out twice a year, for the period they are held operational command and headquarters of the ship group are formed, which are commanded alternately by representatives of the participating countries in alphabetical order.
The working language of CHVMG OV is English .
