Mustafa, Firuz

Born on February 18, 1952 in the village of Isali, Kedabek district of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the family of a teacher.

In 1975 he graduated from the philological faculty of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. He taught at the schools of the Saatli region for two years.

He served in the ranks of the Soviet army. From time to time he worked in the editorial office of the Azerbaijan Genjleri newspaper, and broadcast popular programs on TV like Ilgym (Mirage) and Idrak (Cognition).

He graduated from graduate school, defended his thesis and doctoral dissertation in philosophy.

For many years he taught undergraduate and postgraduate students philosophy, world literature and cultural studies.

Jabbarly and Humai Prize Laureate.

Head of the dramaturgy sector of the Azerbaijan Writers Union .

The founder of the magazine "Theater".
