Zhurlov, Pavel Vasilyevich

Pavel Vasilievich Zhurlov ( June 16, 1934, Lipovka village, Maloserdobinsky district , Penza region ) was a forerunner of production, an apparatchik of chemical production and a rationalizer of the Siberian Chemical Combine . Hero of Socialist Labor (1977).

Biography

Born on June 16, 1934 in a large peasant family in the village of Lipovka of the Maloserdobinsky District.

After graduating from a seven-year school in his native village in 1949, he and his mother moved to the city of Berezniki, Perm Region, where he entered a vocational school. In 1952, after graduating from college, he received the specialty of an apparatchik of chemical production, 5th grade. He began his labor activity in Tomsk-7 at the new secret enterprise of the PO Box 5 of Combine No. 816 for the production of weapons-grade uranium-235, at which he worked for the next 45 years (later this enterprise was renamed the Siberian Chemical Combine). Took part in the construction of buildings of the enterprise. He made several dozens of rationalization proposals, resulting in increased productivity.

In the early 1970s, he developed a method for flushing pipes from internal uranium layers, which made it possible to reuse pipes. The economic effect of this innovation proposal was about 180 thousand rubles. For outstanding achievements in work, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor in 1977.

In October 1997, he retired.
