Geography
The commune is located approximately 430 km south of Paris , 125 km east of Bordeaux , 14 km east of Perigueux [1] .

Climate
The climate is temperate oceanic [2] with an average level of precipitation, which falls mainly in the winter. Summer is long and warm, but also quite humid; there are no regular periods of summer drought. The average January temperature is 5 ° C, July is 18 ° C. Occasionally, due to a combination of adverse weather conditions, a short drought may occur or late frosts occur. The climate changes very often, both during the season and from year to year [3] .
