The 10th floorball world championship was held in December 2014 in Gothenburg, Sweden . 16 teams qualified for the final stage: Finland , Latvia , Germany , Czech Republic , Switzerland , Norway , Estonia , Slovakia , USA, Japan , South Korea , Denmark , Canada , Russia, Australia , as well as Sweden as the host country. Teams were divided into 4 groups.

The championship was held in 2 arenas: Scandinavium and Lisebergshallen . The tournament set an absolute record for attendance at the World Championships - 104,445 spectators. The previous record (104 018) was set in 2008 at the World Cup in the Czech Republic : in Prague and Ostrava [2] .
The world champion for the eighth time in its history was the Swedish national team, which won all of its fights. In the final match, the hosts beat the national team of Finland with a score of 3: 2. The Czech national team won bronze medals, beating the Swiss national team in the match for 3rd place with a score of 4: 3. The most valuable player of the tournament named the Swedish striker Kim Nilsson.
