Biography
Born in 1913 in Gornji Milanovac, son of a doctor. He studied at the gymnasiums of Gornji Milanovac, Cacak and Chupria . He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade , worked at a bank. He supported the Communist Party of Yugoslavia during his training, distributed leaflets, participated in strikes and worked in the organization of syndicates. Since July 1941 in the partisan movement.
Eftich commanded the Trnava battalion of the ачacak partisan detachment . After the First anti-partisan offensive in November 1941, together with a group of partisan detachments and the High Headquarters of the NOAU, he left for Sandzak . Until July 14, 1942, deputy commander of the 3rd Shumdian battalion of the 2nd proletarian shock brigade , from July 14, his commander. He fought with a brigade in Bosnia, in the autumn of 1942 he was transported to Slovenia to help local partisans, where he commanded a brigade. July 30, 1943 died in a battle against Italians and Slovenian collaborators in the village of Sela pri Stravberku , near Nova Mesta . He was buried in the Cemetery of Popular Heroes in Ljubljana.
