Club career

Gisli is a pupil of " Royne " from his native Khvlba . For “Royne” he made his debut at the age of fifteen and within three seasons scored ten goals in forty-two meetings of the first division . In 2001, he joined the Faroese Premier League club , the reigning champion of the country, WB Vagur . May 20, 2001 Gisli made his debut in the highest Faroese division, in a match against the HB Torshavn club [1] . On July 7, 2001, Gisli made his debut in the Champions League qualification in the match against the Belarusian “ Slavia ” [2] . In 2003, he returned to the "Royne" and played in his composition three productive seasons. In 2006, Gisli moved to 07 Vestur , where for three seasons he was one of the players in the rotation of the roster. Gisli spent 2009 as a free agent . In 2010, he became a player of “ Hoyvik ”, in its composition for two seasons he spent only thirteen matches and did not score a single goal. In the summer of 2011, Gisli returned to his native "Royn" again. After six games without goals, he decided to end his football career. In 2015, he decided to resume performances in the “Royna”, which made it into the second Faroese division.
