Ambrose of Alexandria (student Didim)

Ambrose Alexandria ( ancient Greek. Ἀμβρόσιος Ἀλεξανδρείας ; lat. Ambrosius Alexandrinus ; IV century ) - Christian writer . Ambrose of Alexandria, a student of Didyma , wrote a great work “On Doctrines” against Apollinaria and commentaries on the Book of Job . Writings are not preserved. About Ambrose Jerome Stridonsky reports in chapter 126 of his book On Famous Men , this chapter is dedicated to Ambrose. Ambrose is canonized in Catholicism, his life is placed in the Acta Sanctorum on March 17, where he is called deacon.
