Biography
Ivan Dubinin was born in 1888 in the village of Kazar, Kazan province . His father was a carpenter, Ivan from childhood helped him in his work. After the death of his father, Ivan Dubinin left home. He worked as a loader on the Volga marina [1] . In 1910 he moved to Moscow, worked as a carpenter at the Kotov factory (now the “ Red Cloth ”).
In 1910-1912 he took part in strikes at the factory.
In 1917, after the February Revolution, he became chairman of the Kotov factory factory committee. Dubinin became a member of the Bolshevik faction of the Moscow Soviet and a deputy of the Zamoskvoretsky district council. During the October armed uprising he was a scout of the district Military Revolutionary Committee . After the establishment of Soviet power, he became a member of the Executive Committee of the Moscow Soviet and the district council. Since July 1919, he served as chairman of the Zamoskvoretsky district party committee. Dubinin was a member of the Moscow Committee of the RCP (b) and a deputy of the Moscow Soviet [2] . He died in Moscow on January 24, 1920 from pneumonia and typhus [3] [4] .
Memory
In 1922, Dubininskaya Street (former Danilovskaya and Kolomenskaya-Yamskaya Streets) was named in his honor. On this street, Ivan Dubinin lived and worked [5] .
