Biography
Wang Yo was a descendant in the seventh generation of King Sindzhon . In 1389 , after the overthrow of King Chan-wan, he was enthroned by the court group of Lee Song . He was on the throne for about three full years, from 1389 to 1392.
Representatives of the party of radical reformers proposed to proclaim a new dynasty, the founder of which would be Lee Song himself. After the assassination of Jong Monju, the last major supporter of the old dynasty, Konyan-wan was overthrown and so the Koryo dynasty came to an end.
He was first exiled to Wonju , and then he was to Samchok , where he was hanged with his two sons.
