Professional career
Upon graduation, Williams put forward his candidacy for the 2008 NBA draft , but was not selected by any team. To gain experience, he moved to Europe, where he began to play for the French club Dijon . In 2009, he was selected at the NBA Development League draft by the Sioux Falls Club. For “Skyforce”, he averaged 26 points per game and made 5.7 rebounds. Due to the high results, he was noticed in the NBA and on March 2, 2010 he signed a ten-day contract with the Golden State Warriors [1] . At the end of this period, the Warriors extended the contract for another 10 days [2] , and later signed it until the end of the season [3] .
On June 21, 2011, Williams signed a qualification offer from the Warriors, becoming a limited free agent [4] .
After the announcement of the NBA lockout in 2011, Williams returned to Europe, signing a contract with the Spanish club Kakha Laboral [5] .
At the end of 2011, Golden State decided to compete for the central Los Angeles Clippers Deandre Jordan and, to clear the payroll, on December 11, 2011 canceled their offers and made Reggie an unlimited free agent [6] .
On December 15, 2011, Williams signed a $ 5 million two-year contract with Charlotte Bobcats [7] .
On July 19, 2013 Williams signed a multi-year contract with Houston Rockets [8] , but on October 28, the team dismissed him from the squad [9] .
On December 20, 2013, Williams became a player on the Tulsa Sixty Sixers NBA Development League team [10] . On March 6, 2014, he signed a ten-day contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder [11] , and at the end of this period he returned to Tulsa. Later, he moved to the Thunder several times for a ten-day period [12] [13] .
May 10, 2014 Williams signed a contract with the club of the Philippine Basketball Association " San Miguel Birmen " [14] .
On August 12, he signed a contract with Miami Heat [15] , but already on October 13 the team refused him [16] . December 26, he became a player in the “ Oklahoma City Blue ” [17] .
On January 28, 2015, Williams signed a ten-day contract with the San Antonio Spurs [18] , on February 8, the contract was extended for another 10 days [19] , and then until the end of the season [20] .
October 24, 2015 was expelled from the San Antonio Spurs.
On January 9, 2016, Williams signed a contract with the VTB League Avtodor team from Saratov.
