The commune is located approximately 430 km south of Paris , 125 km east of Bordeaux , 19 km east of Perigueux [1] .

In the south of the commune flows the river .

Climate

The climate is temperate oceanic [2] with an average level of precipitation, which falls mainly in the winter.
