Markov, Vladimir Semenovich (journalist)

Vladimir Semenovich Markov ( July 28, 1934 - October 16, 2013) - Soviet and Russian journalist, veteran of journalism , second secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Union Party "Union of Communists" (2004-2013), was a member of the Coordinating Council of the People's Patriotic Union of Russia (late 1990 ) and deputy chairman of the board of the International Union of Slavic Journalists.

Biography

Vladimir Semenovich Markov was born on July 28, 1934 in Cheboksary .

In 1948 he joined the Komsomol , of which he was a member until 1960 . In December 1960, the Bauman RK CPSU of Moscow was accepted as a candidate member of the CPSU , and in February 1962, the Lenin RK of the CPSU of Moscow was adopted as a member of the CPSU .

In 1957 he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy , and in 1958, the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. Lomonosov . Vladimir Semenovich studied at two faculties almost simultaneously.

In Journalism

From 1958 to 1961 he worked at the Standardization Publishing House, in the magazines Standardization, Measuring Technique, at the Higher School Publishing House, from 1961 to 1975 in the journal Voprosy Filosofii , from 1975 to 1983 in the newspaper Pravda .

He was one of the organizers and deputy chairman of the board of the International Union of Slavic Journalists.

In the communist movement

After the ban of the CPSU in November 1991, he was at the forefront and was one of the organizers of the new Union of Communists party in November 1991. From November 1991, a member of its organizing committee, from April 1992 - Secretary of the Central Committee, editor of the newspaper "Voice of the Communist", took an active part in the events of September - October 1993.

He was elected a delegate to the XXVIII Congress of the CPSU , XX All-Union Party Conference of the CPSU , II Congress of the Communist Party , XXIX Congress of the CPSU and XXX Congress of the SKP-CPSU ). From March 2004 until his death, he was the second secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Union Party “Union of Communists” .

Rewards

V. S. Markov was awarded many awards of the USSR , among them the medals “Labor Valor” , “ For Strengthening the Military Commonwealth ”, the Order of “Stalin” (from the PPSND of the USSR), in 2009 he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Permanent Presidium of the Congress of People's Deputies of the USSR .
