Maria Karpovna Sadovskaya-Barilotti (real name is Tobilevich; 1855 - 1891 ) is a Ukrainian opera singer ( soprano ) and a dramatic actress . One of the outstanding actresses of the Ukrainian scene in the 70-80s of the XIX century .

Biography
She was born on April 17 (according to other sources on April 9 ), 1855 in the village of Kostovatoye, Kherson province of the Russian Empire, now the Bratsk region of the Nikolaev region of Ukraine. Sister N.K. Sadovsky , I.K. Karpenko-Kary and P.K. Saksagansky . [one]
Later, the whole family moved to Elizavetgrad, where Maria studied at the gymnasium and already took part in the drama circle. She began stage activity in Nikolaev in 1876 as part of the Russian operetta group. Since 1883, she played in the troupes of Mark Kropyvnytsky and Mikhail Staritsky . Since 1890, she acted in the troupe of her brother - Panas Saksagansky . During her career, she played female roles in many opera and dramatic performances, including Natalka Poltavka and Zaporozhets beyond the Danube .
Died March 27, 1891 in Odessa - the heart of the actress stopped on the stage of the Odessa Theater [2] . She was buried in Elizavetgrad (now Kropyvnytsky , Ukraine ) at Bykovsky cemetery.

- She was married to the Ukrainian singer and drama actor D. N. Petrov (stage name Mova [3] ) and the Italian tenor Barilotti [2] , who performed in Ukraine (their relationship was not registered). Mother Elena Petlyash .

- The folk theater of the village of Bratskoe bears the name of Maria Sadovskaya-Barilotti.
- Materials related to Sadovskaya-Barilotti are in the collections of the Kirovograd Regional Museum of Local Lore and the Memorial Museum of M. L. Kropyvnytsky.
