Content
Geography
It is located on the regional road 03K-024 ( Murochi - Malaya Kudara - border with the Trans-Baikal Territory ) 110 km east of Kyakhta , on both banks of the Kudara River , at the confluence of the Borisov and Sheber rivers into it. 7 km to the southeast, by road, the border of Buryatia and the Trans-Baikal Territory passes.
History
On July 10, 1826, the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary was consecrated [2] . The construction of the church was partially financed by the Kyakhtinsky merchant Nikolay Matveevich Igumnov. He donated three bells to the church. In 1859, the Kyakhta merchant of the first guild, Y. A. Nemchinov, donated a bell weighing 13 pounds to the church. The church is wooden, one-story. 9 fathoms long, 3.5 fathoms wide [3] .
On January 1, 1886, a parish school opened [4] .
