Bolivarian Games 1977

The 8th Bolivarian Games took place from 15 to 29 October 1977 in La Paz ( Bolivia ). The games were officially opened by the President of Bolivia, General Hugo Banzer Suárez . The torch was lit by athlete Julia Iriarte, who won five gold and three silver medals at the 1951 Bolivarian Games .
