Biography
Born on January 21, 1924 in a working-class family in the town of Pokrovsk (today - Engels ) of the Saratov province.
After graduating from filmmaker courses in 1937, he worked in this specialty until 1942. Then he worked as an electrician in a steam engine repair shop in Engels. In 1942 he was drafted into the army. He studied at the military school in Kuyysheve, then a cadet participated in the Battle of Stalingrad . He fought in the Don and Western fronts. The war ended in Czechoslovakia.
After the war, he returned to his hometown and worked on his previous job. In 1948 he moved to the closed city of Sverdlovsk-44, Sverdlovsk Region, where he began working at the plant number 813 of the Ministry of Medium Machine Building of the USSR (later - the Ural Electrochemical Plant).
For outstanding achievements in labor activity, he was awarded in 1976 the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
