Sarah Jezebel Deva, who had previously worked with bands such as Therion , Mortiis, and the Mystic Circle , teamed up with the Wren brothers in 2001 to create a new band. Their debut album God Has a Plan for Us All was released in April 2006. The name of the group - Angtoria - comes from the name of the song of the same name by Moahni Moahna , which included Tommy Wren from 1992 to 1998.

History
The creation of the group was initiated by the acquaintance and subsequent friendship of Sarah and Chris during their tour in 2001 with the group Cradle of Filth . They began working on their first CD , which was supposed to resemble a movie soundtrack in format. In 2002, they recorded an unofficial demo album , which, with the exception of the song “ Six Feet Under's Not Deep Enough, ” published on the band’s website , was only listened to by record companies . This demo album also included a cover for Kylie Minogue 's song “ Confide in Me ”. In May 2005, the group won the online competition gothmetal.net . In the form of a prize, the song of the group was recorded on a national team CD. At the end of 2005, the French record company Listenable Records signed a contract with the band.
The album God Has a Plan For Us All contains all the tracks from the demo album except “ Child That Walks the Path of a Man ”, which was presented as a bonus on the digipack . The album also includes two songs recorded by Chris and Sarah in 2001, in addition to six new ones. Dave Pybus, who previously played Cradle of Filth and Anathema, took the place of the bass player . The male vocals in the song “ Original Sin ” were recorded with the participation of Aaron Steinthorp from the band My Dying Bride . Sarah Jezebel Deva officially announced that she intends to reunite the group in the future in order to create a new album.
In 2011, Sarah announced on her official page that Angtoria will continue its work under a new name. The reason for this was the departure of Tommy Wren from the group, since it was he who came up with the name of the group. For the same reason, activity on the official website was suspended despite its availability.
