The commune is located approximately 400 km south of Paris , 125 km northeast of Bordeaux , 27 km north of Perigueux [1] .

Climate

The climate is temperate oceanic [2] with an average level of precipitation, which falls mainly in winter. Summer here is long and warm, but also quite wet, there are no regular periods of summer drought. The average temperature in January is 5 ° C; in July it is 18 ° C. Occasionally, due to confluence of adverse weather conditions, a short drought may occur or late frosts occur. The climate changes very often, both during the season and from year to year [3] .
