History
The Order of Military Honor was established by Legislative Decree No. 166 of July 4, 1953 in 4 classes to reward military personnel for their courage and leadership on the battlefield. According to the statute of the award, the order is awarded successively from the lowest class to the highest. In exceptional cases, the order may be awarded to foreign nationals, and foreign officers - chiefs of staff may be awarded the order of the first class.
Often the order was called the Medal of Military Honor, as well as the Order of the Legion of Honor.

Description
The badge of the Order is a silver eight-pointed star, the rays of which are formed from a beam of different-sized dihedral pointed rays superimposed on a golden laurel wreath. In the center of the star is a round medallion of green enamel. A silver Syrian eagle with a five-pointed red enamel star in a heptagonal black enamel shield on its chest is superimposed on the star with a shift down.
The badge is attached to the ribbon by a ring.
The star of the Order of the First Class is a badge of the Order with the increased rays of the star between which are the silver penalties of the vegetative ornament.
The ribbon of the order of the moire is light red in color with green stripes 5 mm wide, retreating from the edge 4 mm.
