Biography
Sergey Voronezhsky was born in Kherson, where he began to play football in the local youth sports school-3 under the leadership of Sergei Kuzovenkov and Philip Grishkov . At the age of 17, he made his debut for the local Crystal , and the next year he became one of the key players in the team. Because of service in the ranks of the USSR Armed Forces, the season of 1986 Voronezh began on an amateur level, in the Sevastopol SKChF , where he spent 3 years, after which he returned to his native Kristall, in which he spent almost 150 matches in games of the USSR and Ukraine championships.
He spent the second half of the first championship of Ukraine as part of the Simferopol Tavria , which became that year became the champion of Ukraine. Participated in the final match of the championship , against Dynamo Kyiv . The following season, as part of Tavria, he spent 4 matches in the Champions League [1] .
In 1993, he joined the Odessa "Black Sea" , but could not gain a foothold in the team, after which he returned to Kherson. In his hometown he stayed only for a year, accepting the offer of Zhytomyr Polesye , where he performed from 1994 to 2000. At the end of his professional career, he performed at the amateur clubs Tavria (Novotroitskoe) , KZESO (Kakhovka) and Ukrrichflot (Kherson) .
