Timur Melnik (born July 9, 1985) is an Austrian classical violinist and teacher of Ukrainian origin.

Life and career
Timur Melnik teaches at the Vienna Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art named after Pryner [1] and regularly gives international master classes in Europe, Russia and at the JVL Summer School of Music in Canada . He is also a former assistant to Professor Pavel Vernikov at the Lausanne Conservatory ( Fr. Conservatoire De Lausanne HEMU Sion ) in Sion (Switzerland) and sometimes at the Fiesole music school (known by its Italian name Scuola Di Musica Di Fiesole ) in Italy.
Presently [ when? ] lives in Vienna , Austria . Born in Kiev . He studied with Professor Michael Frischenschlager at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna ; with Professor Anna Melnik at the Kosta Manojlovic music school and at the Horeum Margi school for musically gifted children in Serbia . He received further artistic impulses from Professor Zakhara Bron (Russian and German violinist and music teacher.), Professor Pavel Vernikov (Vienna), Professor. Evgenia Chugaeva (Moscow) and maestro Vladimir Spivakov .
Timur was a jury member at the EURITMIA international music competition [2] in Italy, SVIREL [3] in Slovenia, the International Forum for Musical Performance and Pedagogy in Austria and the Republican Competition in Serbia .
In his student years, he was awarded prizes at international competitions with a violin: second place and the audience award at the international music competition to them. "Johannes Brahms" [4] in Austria, the main and first prize at the Osaka International Music Competition [5] in Japan and the special European Sting Teachers Association special prize at the "Fritz Kreisler" International Violin Competition in Vienna, Austria. During the training, he was awarded a scholarship to them. Herbert von Karajan from the Austrian Foundation.
