Markaz Karramovich Latypov (18.3.1926, village of Baltaevo, Belebeyevsky canton of the BASSR (Tuymazinsky district of the Republic of Belarus) - 17.1.1999, Ufa) - an economic activist. Honored Worker of the Oil and Gas Industry of the RSFSR (1986), Honored Oil Worker of the BASSR (1976), Excellence in the Oil Industry of the USSR (1976), Honored Oil Worker of the USSR (1974). He participated in the construction of more than 7 thousand wells in 77 fields of Bashkortostan. Under his leadership, for the first time in world practice, multilateral wells were drilled at the Kartashevsky field. Founder of the directional drilling method in the BASSR. The author of 20 publications and 3 inventions. He was awarded the Orders of Lenin (1964), the Red Banner of Labor (1971), and the Badge of Honor (1959).

He graduated from the Lviv Polytechnic Institute (1950), mining engineer.
In 1950-1956 - in the Ishimbayneft trust: senior engineer, head of intelligence, head of technical and vocational education; in 1956-1964 - Director, in 1964-1970. - Manager of the Tuymazaburneft trust; in 1970-1981 - Head of the Ufa UBR; in 1981-1991 - Senior Researcher, BashNIPIneft .
His son Valery is a civil engineer, doctor of technical sciences (1998), professor (1999).
In Ufa, on the house where Markaz Karramovich lived, a memorial plaque was installed.
