Kirill Leonidovich Kulemin (born October 13, 1980 ) is a Russian sports functionary, a member of the FRR Board, director of international cooperation of the FRR [1] , a former rugby player in the position of player of the 2nd line (lock, lock) of the teams of the French and English championships and the Russian team .

Club career
Rugby League-13
Kulemin - a pupil of the rugby school " Dynamo " ( Moscow ). Performs in a position of lock or in attack. Until 2004, he played rugby 13 , his rugby talents were noticed during his performance in the Challenge Cup against professional rugby teams of Great Britain and France. In Australia, he played rugby 7 according to the rules of rugby 13, and also performed at the amateur level in New Zealand [2] .
French Championship
Since 2004, playing in foreign rugby clubs-15, spent a lot of time in the championship of France, playing for Agen and Perpignan . At the first training session in the gym, Kulemin, who did not have sufficient skills, injured his pectoral muscle and was out of order for three months, but decided not to inform the family about it [2] . In “Agen”, Kulemin considered one of the role models the Fijian player Rupeni Kaukaunibuku , who was distinguished by his violent disposition, but at the same time was distinguished by great physical strength and dedication in the game [2] .
In the 2012/2013 season, Kulemin played for London Welch, where he left at the end of the season at Sale Sharks [3] . Since 2014, playing for the French “Perpignan” in Pro D2 [4] .
Team Career
Kirill Kulemin is involved in the Russian national rugby team-15 [5] . As part of the Russian national rugby league team, he played at the 2000 World Cup and came out in a match against Australia (defeat 4: 110) [2] , played two more matches in 2003 [6] . Cyril missed the 2011 World Cup due to an injury received during a match in Wales: he was seized by two or three, and as a result of an unsuccessful move, Cyril received knee damage. Two days later, an operation took place that theoretically allowed Kulemin to recover for the World Cup, but subsequent complications precluded his participation in the tournament [2] .
Game Style
According to Kulemin, from the age of 16 he gained enough growth and weight for playing rugby. His record in the bench press is a little more than 150 kg, in the squat - more than 200 kg. Nevertheless, before signing the contract with the club “Agen” Kulemin had a problem: passing physical tests, he made such a high jump, after which the club doctors suspected Kulemin of doping (the player’s weight was then 127 kg) [2] . Only after Kirill passed the doping test, the club signed a contract with him [2] .
Personal life
Kirill Kulemin graduated from school No. 1244, where he studied French and played hockey as part of CSKA [7] , and the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as the University of Perpignan, specializing in Insurance and Capital Management [2] [8] . He lived in the London area of Richmond - his salary of the rugby player of the English Premier League was up to 100 thousand pounds per year, but half of them went to taxes [2] . Now lives in Perpignan [2] .
Married, has a son. Cyril also has a sister [2] .
