Geography
The village of Meshkovo is located in the southern part of Zolotukhinsky district , near the border with the Kursk region , about 27 km south-west of the village of Zolotukhino .
4 km east of the village runs the line of the Oryol-Kursk branch of the Moscow Railway .
The village of Meshkovo is located on the right bank of the Tuskar River . Through the river, the villagers built a pedestrian bridge from improvised materials.
The nearest settlements are the village of Terepsha of the Tazovsky village council, the village of Kurkino and the village of Volobuevo of the Kamyshin village council of the Kursk region.
