Biography

Born June 15, 1940 in Ukraine in the city of Berdichev.

At the end of the local technical school, he went to work in the Urals and entered the Ural Polytechnic Institute (now the Ural Federal University , Yekaterinburg).

He worked in Voronezh, in the same place the first publications in the newspaper "Young Communard" (1967).

Since 1974, in Moscow, where he began to be published in the central press, in numerous collections of aphorisms and poetry miniatures.

In 1996 he emigrated to Germany, where he collaborated with leading Russian newspapers and magazines: Russian Germany, Contact, Rubezh, Partner, etc.

He worked as an editor in the Europe Express newspaper, a satirical section of Ru-Bashka magazine, ch. editor of the magazine "Image".

He wrote and directed the play “See Paris and Stay”.

Boris Zamyatin is a member of the Moscow Club of aphoristics, Moscow SP , the Union of Russian-speaking writers of Germany, the Moscow club of satirists and humorists "Damn Dozen", the German-speaking branch of the international PEN club .

His poems, stories and essays are translated into German and published in the collections of “Wir in Deutschland”, “Zuhause nur im Wort”, “Schloss Moabit” and others. Brief information about him is included in the directory “Russian literature today” published in Moscow (section "Abroad"), in the reference book "Odulev" and the book "Russian foreign writers of the beginning of the XXI century.
