Synopsis
1983 Having served in the Soviet army, George Metreveli from Kutaisi and Boris Kravets from Poltava go to Lviv to learn jewelry making. There they both fall in love with the girl Elena, who chooses George. This event opens the way to a confrontation that flares up after more than 20 years, when the children of the warring families Zoya and Timur fall in love with each other.

Production
The author of the script was Tatiana Gnedash , who has in her arsenal the development of the plots of the TV series "Immortelle", "The Mongrel Lyalya ", "Sashka", "Marusya". The script provides for 95 episodes [1] , divided into five parts [2] . The plot contains the motifs of Shakespeare's “ Romeo and Juliet ”, the Vulf's “Jeweler and Duchess”, “The Godfather ” by Mario Puzo , “The Rich and Famous” by Alejandro Romaya [4] .
The film was produced by Front Cinema, part of the Media Group Ukraine holding [2] .
Filming began in May 2015, will last six months, and will be held non-stop. The shooting is carried out in Kiev ( Vozdvizhenka district [5] ) and Kiev region ( Gorbovichi village [1] ). In the picture, Lviv will be presented with views of the streets and a panorama.
Release
On August 10, 2015 at 6:00 pm, a pre-premiere online show of the series was held on the channel of the Ukraine TV channel on YouTube [2] . The television series was aired on August 17 at 18:00 [2] .

According to the Ukrainian journalist and writer Andrei Kokotyuha , “Clan Jewelers” is a current Ukrainian series. By this he means new techniques in promotion, an original plot (not borrowed from Russian analogues), accounting for Ukrainian toponymy and active use of the Ukrainian language along with Russian [4] .
