Medal "20 years of the Armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan"

1. The jubilee medal is awarded to servicemen who are positively characterized by their service and exemplary in performing their military duty, who by May 7, 2012 are in military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other persons who have made a significant contribution to the construction of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The procedure for submitting and considering applications for awarding an anniversary medal is determined by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. A jubilee medal is awarded on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Deputy Ministers of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of Defense, main departments, commanders-in-chief, branches of the armed forces and regional commands of the Armed Forces Republic of Kazakhstan, commanders (chiefs) of military units (institutions), chiefs in educational institutions and local bodies of military administration.
4. Together with the medal, the recipient is awarded a certificate of a standard form.
5. Presentation of the jubilee medal is carried out in a festive atmosphere and is awarded to the awarded person. Before the presentation, the order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan on awarding is announced.
6. A jubilee medal is worn on the left side of the chest. In the presence of state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located after them.
7. A corresponding entry is made on the presentation of the anniversary medal in the list for awarding.
8. Non-handed medals and certificates to them shall be returned to the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the reasons for the return, as indicated in the lists.
9. The accounting of the awards made, as well as reporting on the delivery of the anniversary medals, is carried out by the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The jubilee medal “Kazakhstan Republicsynyarulu Kusterine 20 Zhyl” is made of brass and has a circle shape with a diameter of 34 mm.

On the front side of the coin is a five-pointed convex red star with smooth dihedral rays, the sun and a soaring eagle. Around the star is a national ornament.

On the reverse side of the coin in a circle there is an inscription with the date “Kazakhstan Republicsynyarulu Kүstepi 1992 - 2012”, in the center there is an inscription “20 zhyl”.

All images and inscriptions on the medal are convex. The edges of the medal are bordered by a side.

The medal is connected with an eye and a ring to a pentagonal block with a width of 34 mm and a height of 50 mm, covered with silk moire ribbon. In the middle of the ribbon are three golden strips 2 mm wide, between which are two red strips 2 mm wide, and blue stripes 9 mm wide are located on the edges of the golden strips. At the edges of the tape are green stripes 2 mm wide. The width of the tape is 32 mm.

A medal is attached to clothes with a pin.

The medal was made at the Kazakhstan Mint in Ust-Kamenogorsk .
