Lovers (TV series)

The plot of the series is built around extra-marital relations between Noah and Alison. Noah is a schoolteacher, author of one novel, who has difficulty writing the second book. He is happily married, father of four children with a difficult relationship with the test. Alison is a young waitress trying to breathe life into her marriage after the death of a child.

Each series is divided into two approximately equal parts of the timing. The plot of each part is the same, but the sequence of events is depicted from the perspectives of different characters (in the first season, these are Noa and Alison), who play the role of unreliable narrators . This leads to the creation of two alternative scenes, sometimes close, but more often strongly divergent, and a special artistic effect: each of two parts and, accordingly, versions of events is visually convincing and at the same time contradicts the other.

TV channel Showtime announced the order of the pilot series on February 8, 2013. Officially ordering the production of the 10-series season on January 16, 2014.
