The Russian national football team - the national team of Russia, representing Russia at international football competitions , is the successor to the national teams of the Russian Empire , the RSFSR, the USSR and the CIS . Since the first international match in 1912, Russian and Soviet football players have made 23 hat-tricks , of which 14 were committed in the Soviet period. The first player to score three goals was Vsevolod Bobrov , in the match of the Olympic football tournament against the national team of Yugoslavia on July 20, 1952. The last hat-trick in the Russian national team belongs to Artyom Dziuba , who scored 4 goals against San Marino in the qualifying stage of the European Championship 2020 .
The only player to draw a hat-trick three times was Eduard Streltsov . Artyom Dziuba is the only player who scored 4 goals twice.
Most goals in one match - five - were scored by Oleg Salenko in a match against Cameroon at the 1994 World Cup . This achievement is a world championship record for player performance in one match [1] .
The only hat-trick against the Russian team was issued by Spain player David Villa in the group stage match of the 2008 European Championship .
Most goals in one match were conceded in 1912 by the Russian Empire national team from German national team player Gottfried Fuchs . The German striker managed to excel 10 times.
