Biography
He graduated from the faculty of international economic relations, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR (1978). He speaks Korean and English . At diplomatic work since 1999.
- In 2005 - 2006 - Head of Division at the First Asian Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- In 2006 - 2011 - Advisor to the Envoy of the Russian Embassy in the DPRK .
- In 2011 - 2014 - Deputy Director of the First Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
- Since December 26, 2014 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea [1] . He presented his credentials on March 9, 2015 [2] .
