Club career

Nielsen is a graduate of the Aalborg club from his hometown. In 2006, he made his debut for a club in the Danish Super League . In 2014, he transferred to the Dutch HEK . The transfer amount amounted to 300 thousand euros. On February 5, in a match against the NAC, Breda Nielsen made his debut in Eredivisi [1] . On February 15, Lasse scored his first goal for NEC in a duel against Valvajka [2] .

In the summer, Nielsen went on loan to the Belgian Gent . On September 14, in a match against Moscron-Peruwels , he made his debut in the Jupe League [3] . On December 26, in a duel against Kortrijk , Nielsen scored his first goal for Gent [4] . At the end of the season, the leadership of the Belgian club bought a transfer to Lasse. In 2015, he helped Ghent win the championship for the first time in history, as well as win the Belgian Super Cup .

In early 2017, Nielsen moved to the Swedish Malmö . In his match against Gothenburg , he made his debut in the Allsvenskan League . On October 16, in a fight against Norrkoping , Lasse scored his first goal for Malmö [5] . In his debut season, he helped the club win the championship .

International Career

In 2011, Nielsen took part in the home European Championship as part of the Danish youth team . At the tournament he was a substitute and never entered the field.

On August 15, 2012, in a friendly match against the Slovak national team, Nielsen made his debut for the Danish national team [6] .
