Ryan Broekhoff ( born August 23, 1990 in Melbourne , Australia ) is an Australian basketball player who plays for the Dallas Mavericks basketball club and the Australian national team .

Career
Brockhoff started playing basketball at the Australian Sports Institute, where he was noticed by the coaches of the University of Valparaiso in Indiana . In the last two seasons of playing for the university (2011/2012, 2012/2013), Ryan became the team leader with an average performance of 15.7 points and 7.3 rebounds, receiving an honorary mention among the best US student players according to the Asssociated Press .
Brockhoff put on the 2013 NBA Draft , but he was not chosen, and Ryan signed a contract with Besiktas [1] [2] . In the 2014/2015 season, Brockhoff scored 10.9 points, 5.4 rebounds in the European Cup and 11.5 points, 6.2 rebounds in matches of the Turkish championship .
In the summer of 2015, Brockhoff tried himself in the NBA Summer League [3] . In 5 games for the Denver Nuggets , he averaged 4.4 points and 1.6 rebounds.
In September 2015, he signed a three-year contract with the Krasnodar Lokomotiv-Kuban [4] .
Australia Team
For national teams of Australia of different ages, Ryan has been playing since 2008. As part of the student team, he first played at the 2011 Universiade in Shenzhen , and in 2013 in the final of the Kazan Universiade they lost in the final of the student team of Russia.
At the 2014 World Cup, Brockhoff's statistics were 7.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1 assists.
