Along the street, routes of trolleybuses No. 6 and 7, buses and minibuses No. 6, 17, 24, 53, 54 are laid.
At the beginning of the street, at the intersection with Lenin Avenue , and also at the end, at the intersection with Sovetskaya Army Street, there are tram stops "Matrosova Street".
In March 2016, plans were announced to expand the carriageway of Lenin Avenue in the area adjacent to the intersection with Matrosova Street in order to avoid congestion and traffic jams [1] . It is supposed to add one lane due to the narrowing of the territory reserved for trams and cutting down of a decorative shrub fence.
