Club career

Born December 11, 1969 in the city of Agrigento . Pupil of the football school club " Parma ". He started his adult football career in 1985 in the main team of the same club, in which he spent three seasons, taking part in 38 league games and scoring 3 goals.

During 1988–1989, on lease terms, he defended the colors of the Modena club team.

After the completion of a one-year lease, in 1989, he returned to Parma . This time he played for the Parma team the next five seasons of his playing career.
