Biography
William Hello Miller was born on April 6, 1801 in Carmarthenshire in Llandovery .
He studied at the College of Oxford University of St. John's , brilliantly graduated from it and subsequently became a teacher in it. During his teaching career in St. John, Miller published a number of scientific papers on hydrostatics and hydrodynamics .
In 1838, W.H. Miller was elected a member of the Royal Society of London , and in 1870 he was awarded the Royal Society Medal .
In 1852, Miller edited Brook's new edition of Elementary Introduction to Mineralogy .
Since December 4, 1864, Miller became a corresponding member of the Petersburg Academy of Physical Sciences.
William Hello Miller died on May 20, 1880 in the city of Cambridge .
